On Friday, January 18 PULSE, a student led pro-life group, hosted Celebrate YOU, with Abby Johnson. Knollwood Church was filled with men and women that came to hear Abby, a former director of an abortion clinic and author of UNplanned. Since leaving the abortion industry she has devoted herself to speaking out for the truth about abortion. She, along with PULSE, challenged those in the audience to stand for the unborn and to have a voice for the voiceless.

The Well Conference at Knollwood Church

Michelle McKinney Hammond was the guest speaker at The Well Conference at Knollwood Church. This was a wonderful uniting of women in the Mobile area. Three churches participated: Knollwood Church (the host church), Mt. Hebron Church, and Living Word. The newest board member of Sav-A-Life, Linda Johnson, spoke and welcomed everyone. Pastor Sharon Fruh spoke and introduced Susan Baldwin to talk about the upcoming Walk for Life! The church was packed with women and everyone was blessed.

Knollwood Youth Outreach Comes to Sav-A-Life

The Knollwood youth outreach came to Sav-A-Life to volunteer! They helped organize our new library (for the clients in "Earn While You Learn" parenting program), they organized clothes for the maternity closet, and helped get the car seats ready for the "Mothers-to-be" in the Labor and Delivery class. Thank you to Roxanne, Tori, Katie, Abby, Winey-Kate, Amy, Katherine, Libby, Jamie Lynn, & Melody. We so appreciate you...come back anytime!

Bake Sale to Purchase Window Blinds at New Center

The wonderful Women's Ministry of Knollwood Church held a bake sale on Sunday to purchase the blinds for the new center on Downtowner. What a Blessing! The entire church participated by buying the goodies but the instigators were Lisa Granger, Sandy Williams and Mary Kathleen Shaw. Thank you, thank you!

Women's Resource Center Attended Night of Joy at Knollwood

The Women's Ministry of Knollwood Church honored The Women's Resource Center/Sav-A-Life at the December Night of Joy. Susan Baldwin spoke and the ladies attending brought in donations of diapers, baby wipes, etc. It was a fun evening.
