Alabama Legeslation Vote Tomorrow

Tomorrow there will be a vote in the state of Alabama that could effectively ban Abortion in the state.

According to al.com "The Bill says the term 'persons' as used in state laws shall include 'any human being from the moment of fertilization and implantation into the womb.'"

Please pray for our leaders and the state as this bill comes up and the impact it will have on our state and community.

Alabama Legislature, Bills to Restrict Abortions

Tuesday, May 31 the House Health Committee approved a bill stating life begins when a fertilized egg is implanted in the womb.

Also the committee passed a bill to allow Alabama to opt out of federal health care legislation that would provide funding for abortions.

Later this week a bill, already passed in the House, is expected to come up in the Senate that would ban abortions in the 20th week or further of pregnancy

This is an amazing step forward for this state. It is time for Alabama, and the nation, to recognize the harm abortion has done to women and men everywhere. The future is looking bright! Please pray as these bills move into the final steps in the Alabama Legislature.
