It's been a very busy day here at Sav-A-Life! This morning Susan, Deanna, and Emily flew to Texas to a conference for the rest of the week. A wonderful Honor Society home school group came to help put mailing labels on the Walk brochures. Then the Savor Life team came to help. In only 2 hours they put labels on 3000 brochures. What a blessing.
Ina has been overseeing the EWYL classes. Today there were 3 classes. The teachers are a great blessing. Yesterday bags and bags of wonderful donations came in so today they were sorted through and put away for the Moms who earn their points to go "shopping". And I oversaw the volunteers, went through the mail, made a deposit, paid bills, typed letters, and researched more places to put our information no the internet about the Walk for Life. I need to get back to researching more grant opportunities so maybe tomorrow I'll get to that. This is such a fluid place. People come and go, volunteer their time, bring in needed donations, pick up the posters and t-shirts, and bring books for the new library and take a tour. Stop by when you have time and see how wonderful the new library is.
