For the past few months we have had nursing students from University of Mobile
coming through and touring the Women's Resource Centers.
They each went over sonograms, fetal development, options, and sanctity of life.

Here are pictures of two of these sweet students that came in.

Earn While You Learn is a nationally acclaimed program. Expectant and young mothers can “earn” maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, baby furniture, and many other necessities by learning. The program pairs a young woman with a teacher advocate who meets with her each week. Every lesson earns her “Mommy Money” which can be spent in the “Baby Boutique”.This program makes a positive impact on the lives of young mothers & fathers and a life-long impact on their children.

Team Jesus

Last week Lonna Threadgill and SaraKate Davis headed to Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland to participate in a pre-tournament meeting for a fishing tournament hosted by Team Jesus Ministries. Lonna and SaraKate shared with a room mostly filled with men about the Women's Resource Center and what we do. She shared that for every young woman that comes into our center there is a young man out there that is involved even if he doesn't know it. And also each of those young women that come represent a father that may not know what his daughter is going through.

The leaders of Team Jesus encouraged the men to step out and donate what they had to the Women's Resource Center. Just from these men pulling out what they had in their pockets $422 was donated!

We would like to thank each and every one of you that listened and gave from your heart to help the people in the community. We would also like to thank Team Jesus Ministries for inviting us and for all the work they do in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Team Jesus Ministries was founded by Terry Chupp, a professional fisherman, in 1997. Their mission is "To exalt the Savior, Jesus Christ, To evangelize the lost, To edify the body of Christ, To encourage the believer, and To equip the saints to serve. 2011 Sav A Life Gala

This year's Gala was amazing. We are praising God for the incredable outpouring of generosity and love that was shown! Thank you so much to everyone that made this night a success. We could not have done this with out the time and efforts of our silent auction and fund donnors, volunteers, staff members, and clients that were willing to share their stories! To God be the glory!
