Lutheran Women's Mission Conference

Trinity Lutheran Church invited us to take part of the Women's Missions Conference. Over 50 mission minded women came. The women's group from each church shared about the missions work they had been doing. Donations were given for our Earn While You Learn Baby Boutique and many women showed interest in volunteering with the SavALife ministry.

Fountain of Life Missions

We had the privilege of being part of Fountain of Life's Annual Missions Banquet. Many local groups set up booths for people to learn about local missions. The banquet also focused on international missions with Chris Green (Holland), Jeff Garrett (Tanzania), Martha Sears (Chi Alpha - USA Campus), and Zach Brinegar (Children & Youth of Northern Asia) as guest missionary speakers.

Stepping Stones

Some of our girls of the Stepping Stones Bible Study

Lonna Threadgill leads the Stepping Stones Bible Study for our clients. The class is held at the First Baptist North Mobile on Sunday Mornings. All clients and their families are welcome. Girls are encouraged to attend the worship service as well. The class was started to help clients who don't have a church home to be introduced to church where they already know someone.

We also have male leaders that are in prayer and waiting for young men to come in for a class (for every young woman that comes into our center there is a young man that needs ministering to as well).
