Adoption Training
Volunteers from Mobile & Saraland gathered at our Downtowner Loop location to learn more about the beautiful choice of adoption. Mallory of Lifeline Children's Services was our guest speaker. Through these trainings we are hoping to equip or client adocates with the best information for our clients so they can make an informed decision for their child.

Vacation Bible School at North Mobile
First Baptist North Mobile held their VBS June 6 - 10. The boys and girls that attended we encouraged to bring in change that would be donated to the Women's Resource Center (as they do each year) and that if their goal was reach the VBS leaders would have a pie in the face. Well, the kids did a fantastic job and raised way more than was expected. Thank you North Mobile!

Fellowship
One of the best things about volunteering at the Women's Resource Center is that as you help reach young women and families in their time of need, you form friendships and bonds with great Christian women and you know you are always lifted in prayer! If you would like to join us in reaching the Mobile community please give us a call. (Mobile - 344-4357 or Saraland 675-0911)

Cinderella speaks at Claire's Hope
On Thursday, June 9th, Katy Herndon presented to the SPL (Stay Pure & Lovely) group "La Vita e Bella" at Claire's Hope as Cinderella. Katy's heart is to empower young women through the Cinderella story, that all girls deserve to wait for their perfect shoe and that we are all princesses when we enter into God's kingdom.
Katy is our director of events and marketing here at the Women's Resource Center. She is a co-founder of Mobile Princess Parties and the first violinist with the Phoenix Quartet.

Horton Hears A Who & M56 Ministry
The Saraland Women's Resource Center presented Horton Hears a Who to the 5th and 6th graders during Vacation Bible School at First Baptist North Mobile.
The presentation goes over sanctity of human life in a child friendly manner. There were over 60 kids and they all had great questions that opened the door to talk about God's will for our lives and much more.
Thank you First Baptist North Mobile for inviting us to share with your students!

"I Will Wait"
Deanna, Lonna, and Lori of the Women's Resource Centers went out to First Baptist Grandbay to lead a presentation and discussion on why it is important to save sexual activity for marriage.
Students learned about the physical as well as the emotional consequences of not waiting. They also learned about fetal development and the sanctity of human life. They were each given the chance to make a commitment to God and themselves to wait as well as signing an "I Will Wait" Commitment Card.
