Time to Meet Some of the Staff

We'll begin with the Sage office which is our Administrative Office:
Above is Susan Baldwin, the Executive Director. In the middle is Donna Williams the Chairperson of the Board. In pink is Thelma New. She is not staff but has done so much for the ministry, she could very well be!











Emily hired as Events Marketer. Claudia as Communications Director and Assistant to Susan. They work hard to get the newsletter out, invitations to every event, keep the addresses up to date (there are over 3900), and really anything to do with the annual events and communications.









Sharon is our wonderful receptionist who also helps get mailings done.

Ina is over Earn While You Learn and is our Spanish translater. And below is a photo of her with her daughter.

Moving Day!!

After the Dedication, it's time to pack up and move to the new center. The Sage office will now be the Administrative Office, Earn While You Learn, Abstinence Classes. The Downtowner Center will now be the medical office.

Earn While You Learn

"Earn While You Learn" Parenting Class led by Ina Maldonado.

Ina is originally from Peru and is our Spanish translator. This particular class was the Spanish class.

It's very important to learn how to be a parent. Parents attending also receive needed items like diapers, etc.

Counselors In Training!

There's an opportunity to be a counselor here. First is the training class led by Martha Legros and Deanna Montieth. Next you "shadow" seasoned counselors to see how it's done. We need more counselors!

Want to Volunteer???

We have room for lots of volunteers! Here are a few...this is part of the Banquest 2010 Committee putting invitations into envelopes and stamping! It's a lot of fun and we get a lot done! The Banquet/Gala is March 11.

JoLynn & Sarah at West Mobile Baptist

JoLynn & Sarah were invited to West Mobile Baptist Church for their mission outreach to represent Sav-A-Life. Sarah spoke to the young people and did an excellent job!

Bake Sale to Purchase Window Blinds at New Center

The wonderful Women's Ministry of Knollwood Church held a bake sale on Sunday to purchase the blinds for the new center on Downtowner. What a Blessing! The entire church participated by buying the goodies but the instigators were Lisa Granger, Sandy Williams and Mary Kathleen Shaw. Thank you, thank you!

Dedication of the New Center on Downtowner Loop

On the 31st of January over 12 area pastors, mission directors, and over 200 faithful supporters of Life gathered to dedicate the new facility on Downtowner Loop. This beautiful building is opposite the last remaining abortion clinic in Mobile. There could never be a clearer choice. In the days ahead remember to pray that every woman who starts out seeking an abortion will look across the street and be drawn to us so that we can share God's truth, salvation, love, healing, and hope with her. This is probably the greatest opportunity we have had in the past decade to be so visibly a Center for Choice. Come by and see us.
